Delio to conduct joint research on Cryptocurrency Tech-Fin with Korea University’s Blockchain Research Institute
Delio (CEO: Jung Sang-ho), a cryptocurrency financial enterprise, revealed on the 15th that it has signed a business agreement to conduct joint research on blockchain-based digital assets Tech-Fin technologies with Korea University’s Blockchain Research Institute (Head: In Ho).
The primary content of the agreement includes joint research on blockchain technology and the blockchain-based digital asset Tech-Fin technology, education and training related to blockchain technology, internship programs, strategies to create new blockchain-based businesses, legal and institutional reviews, business model consulting, and support for the operation of a blockchain startup center.
Through this agreement, Delio and the Blockchain Research Institute will establish a mutual cooperation system and co-develop blockchain-based digital asset Tech-Fin technologies and business models. Delio plans to expand its scope of services from lending and deposits(saving) to include Tech-Fin, thus becoming a provider of the financial services related to cryptocurrency that can be used in real life.
Korea University’s Blockchain Research Institute performs research in six areas, which include blockchain-based technologies and systems, business models, medical information, logistics information, and the Internet of Things (IoT), together with labs in major universities. In particular, it conducts research on blockchain technology through industry-university collaborations with blockchain companies such as Bithumb, a virtual asset exchange.
Jung Sang-ho, CEO of Delio, said, “Through this business agreement, we are now capable of researching Tech-Fin services that utilize virtual assets with one of the nation’s top blockchain research institutions… The pioneering technology that Delio’s virtual asset Tech-Fin business needs will be secured and, as a result, Delio’s services will become even more advanced.”
In Ho, Head of Korea University’s Blockchain Research Institute, stated, “Delio is a leading cryptocurrency lending company in Korea… We will actively assist one of the top Korean companies to lead the world in the area of digital asset Tech-Fin.”
Meanwhile, Delio also signed a legal consulting contract with DR & AJU Law Firm to prepare for the institutionalization of virtual assets as well as the enforcement of the “the Act on Reporting and Using Specified Financial Transaction Information”.

高丽大学区块链研究所与主要学院的专门研究室正在针对基于区块链的技术和制度、商业模式、医疗信息、物流信息、物联网（IoT）等6个领域开展共同研究。特别是正通过与虚拟资产交易所Bithumb等区块链企业进行产学合作，开展区块链技术研究。

クリプト・ファイナンス専門企業のデリオ(代表取締役：チョン・サンホ)は15日、高麗大学ブロックチェーン研究所(所長：イン・ホ)とブロックチェーンをベースとした号資産取テクフィン(techfin)技術の共同研究のための業務提携契約を結んだことを明らかにした。
提携契約の主な内容は、ブロックチェーン技術の共同研究の実施、ブロックチェーン基盤の号資産取テクフィン技術の共同研究、ブロックチェーン技術の教育及び訓練、インターンシッププログラムの運営、ブロックチェーンをベースとした新しいビジネスの創出のための事業戦略、法律と制度の検討、ビジネスモデル等に対するコンサルティングの提供、ブロックチェーンの創業センターの運営のサポート等だ。
今回の提携契約により、デリオと研究所は、相互業務協力システムを構築し、共同でブロックチェーンをベースとした号資産取のテクフィン技術とビジネスモデルを開発することになる。デリオは従来のレンディング・貸仮想通貨サービスをテクフィンのエリアまで広げ、実生活でも活用可能な号資産取金融サービスに変える方針を持っている。
高麗大学ブロックチェーン研究所は、主な単科大学専門研究室と共同でブロックチェーンベースの技術と制度、ビジネスモデル、医療情報、物流情報、モノのインターネット(IoT)などの6つの分野を研究している。特に、号資産取取引所のビッサム(Bithumb)など、ブロックチェーン企業との産学連携で、ブロックチェーン技術の研究に取り組んでいる。
デリオのチョン・サンホ代表取締役は、｢今回の業務提携契約で、韓国最高レベルのブロックチェーン研究機関と連携し、号資産取を活用したテクフィンサービスの研究を行うことになった｣とし、｢デリオの号資産取テクフィン事業に必要な先導的な技術を確保し、それによってデリオのサービスはより高度化が進むことになる｣と述べた。
高麗大学のイン・ホ研究所長は、｢デリオは韓国を代表する号資産取レンディング企業である｣とし、｢韓国を代表する企業が、号資産取テクフィンの部門で世界をリードできるよう積極的にサポートする｣と述べた。
なお、デリオは、号資産取制度化及び｢特定金融取引情報の報告及び利用等に関する法律(特金法)｣の施行に備え、法務法人DR&AJUと法律アドバイス契約を結んでいる。
